‼️ Tickets are OPEN for purchase here: https://secure.qgiv.com/event/chicksandhogs/ ‼️

Join us for our 14th Annual Chicks & Hogs BBQ & Brew-Fest presented by Comcast! This year, due to our growing popularity, we've moved to a new venue, A.V. Bull Sallas Park in New Caney.

This year's event spans two days, starting with Faith First Friday, where we prioritize faith before fundraising. Friday night features a Christian concert with artists from the Greater Houston Worship Community opening and Hulvey as the headliner! We are expected to sell out so get your tickets fast! 🎶

Saturday promises excitement with our rodeo-style cook-off and brewery festival. Now a Champions Barbecue Alliance (CBA) sanctioned event, we are capping the competition at 40 cook teams. We've also expanded our brewery competition to a festival, featuring up to 20 brewers, making it the only brewery festival in Northeast Houston! This is the largest fundraising event in our area! 🍻

Join us for live music, a kid zone, silent and live auctions, and so much more. Don't miss out on this incredible community event! 🥳

We Invite You To See The Forest

The Forest Image has been a staple in the greater Lake Houston area for over a quarter century. We took a small break, but are now back! We are here to present to our readers throughout the community the many wonderful events and non-profit organizations that make our area a wonderful place to raise a family. Today we are the only local full glossy magazine that exudes bright and vibrant messaging for our advertisers. Our coverage area includes Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, Huffman, and Fall Creek. We love the community and are striving to help rebuild our community and it's business post Harvey. #HoustonStrong.
