Of all possible days to get back to posting on social media… oh well, I’ve always had questionable comedic timing 🤣
I heard if you don’t post for a while (or *cough* two years) your posts get buried in the algorithm, so with that in mind here’s a haphazardly curated snapshot of the last year and some updates for those who actually see this.
Got much more into live sound working with again, and got to do sound for some awesome bands like during summer concerts. Also was the A2 for for their Seattle and Portland stops of their tours this year, which featured legendary ambient artists like and William Basinski.
Also got to play some great shows with multiple groups im really excited about, including , and we also got to record an album together up in Anacortes!
As far as life generally, the past few years have been a more difficult season for sure, which has included some pretty serious depression on my part, and some major losses in my family; of which the only positive thing I can really say is it brought a lot of us closer together.
That said, in my lowest times I also missed a lot of important events, stalled out on projects, failed to respond to texts and calls, and kind of withdrew from the world at times entirely; but for those whom this may apply I’m going to do my best to make it up to you as I am able, and be more present in the lives of all the people I care about and love.
I’m very grateful for that as a goal going into 2025, and frankly for my extended time away from this… place, but I have too many important shows and releases to share to be entirely offline going forward.
