Episode 95 of Silicon Radio with special guest 🇦🇺 on 📡 Wednesday, April 8th, 2026 @ 7:00PM PDT.

Mondo Ritmo is the concept of Melbourne, Australia based DJ/designer Jarrod Porter, a true music obsessive, it was born out of his passion for music discovery across a range of genres, with a focus on globally influenced club sounds.

Being surrounded by music from an early age, he soon became part of the local club scene since 2004, frequenting many of Melbourne’s underground venues before taking up residency at Eurotrash for two years, which led to him supporting local and international acts such as Fred Falke, Proxy, Bag Raiders and Miami Horror.

In 2023, he created an outlet to showcase his passion for outer-national sounds, not limited by genre or tempo, from that Mondo Ritmo was born and has since built a strong name for itself, not just locally but also globally, known for energetic, genre crossing extended sets that build momentum, fusing percussive elements together with classic anthems and leftfield curve balls.

INNEZZ is a Vancouver-based DJ whose sets move fluidly between hypnotic grooves, high-energy club pressure, and playful left turns. Shaped by her North African roots and time spent in Vancouver and New York, she brings warmth, instinct, and unpredictability to selections filled with acid basslines, warped percussion, and deep dancefloor cuts. A rising fixture in Vancouver’s underground, she has played festivals including Bass Coast and Snowbombing and hosts the monthly radio show Azul Radio.

PREMIERE: The legendary album from South Africa’s House and Kwaito master Doctor House is being reissued for the first time by Portland label , fully remastered from the original DAT tapes. Available now via Bandcamp and Rush Hour. Check it out!

Nelson Phetole Mohale released a series of albums as Doctor House. Cutting his teeth in the 80s as a session player for a host of big names like Volcano, Senyaka and Obed Ngobeni, he moved on to programming for acts like La Viva and Jivaro, also contributing to Carlos Djedje and others. Still barely out of his teens he became one of South Africa’s first rappers as part of PT House, co-written and produced by Danny Bridgens.
