Dark Star Saints is an electrifying heavy rock band from the Pacific Northwest originally formed as a recording project during the pandemic lock-down in 2020/21 and is the brainchild of multi-talented musician/singer/songwriter Thad T. Working with various artists from the US and the UK, Smith put together several hard driving rock tracks via remote collaborative recording efforts. With the succes

s of those sessions and the pandemic lock-downs easing, Smith recruited his longtime friend and guitarist Jef “Woop” Warner (formerly with Geffen recording artists BLACK’N BLUE) to continue an in person collaborative effort and to begin putting together the live formation of Dark Star Saints. In mid-2022 Smith and Warner (who has shared studios and the stage with many rock titans like Aeromith, KISS and Scorpions) began rounding out the Dark Star Saints line up with local scene heavy hitters Brandon Smith on drums, Paul Brown on Bass, and Second guitarist Christopher Ruby (a recent NW transplant from the Denver Colorado rock scene). Since then, the group has embarked on bringing to life an album full of original tracks that offer an explosive blend of hard rock and heavy grooves, full of intense riffs, soaring solos and powerful vocals. Dark Star Saints initial forthcoming album “Ashes” is sure to solidify them as a force to be reckoned with in the world of rock, as they bring their unique iconic sound to audiences everywhere.
