Veranda Davenport: Socialite — she has her lips to a martini and her ears to the tea.

Herbie Murphy: Licensed Janitor — he has a collar that is blue but a heart of gold.

Frank Trigger: Private Eye — he’s too over-confident to know he’s under-informed.

A delicious descent into 10 nights of q***r horror, chaos, and comedy kicks off at 7:30pm with Trick or Treat: A Haunted Talk Show AND Lights Out Bingo with Frank & Friends!

This is not a drill. It’s opening night. Get your creepy little self to CoHo.

Before you head into the haunted madness, here are a few things you definitely want to know…

ALL SHOW TICKET SALES GO DIRECTLY TO THE ARTISTS

Stage Fright uses a Fringe Theatre Festival model, meaning 100% of ticket sales go to our festival performers and artists. 

That also means that space rental, labor, promotional materials, marketing, decorations, and equipment needed to run the festival itself are reliant on donations, fundraising events, and merch purchases. 

This festival would not be possible without your support!

ALL SHOWS START ON TIME

Our schedule is packed, which means our timeline is precise. The festival has back-to-back shows with quick set changes. Dilly-Dallyers Beware! Arrive 10-15 minutes to avoid missing out.

NOT FOR KIDS

Most of our shows have a PG-13 or R rating. We do have some PG rated events that younger audiences may enjoy, but our festival as a whole is not designed with the unique needs of children in mind. 

Stage Fright is created by and for q***r and trans artists, and WILL contain ADULT THEMES pertaining to those communities.

We are exactly one week ( 6 days, actually) away from the q***rest, creepiest theatre festival Portland has ever seen, and frankly, the demons in our rehearsal room are getting restless.

👻 Featuring: blood-slick musicals, deranged rom-coms, haunted talk shows, and more! It’s gory, it’s q***r, it’s funny… but most of all, it’s really, really weird. 

And it all starts with Trick or Treat!: A Haunted Talk Show with Frank and Friends where you’ll get to know the festival lineup with behind-the-scenes anecdotes and teaser performances. There will also be some thrilling rounds of BINGO with special prizes - AND scares!

From all of us at Stage Fright: Happy Pride!!! 🕯️🌈

This festival exists because we believe q***r and trans artists deserve stages to tell their stories on.

Because horror has always belonged to us. It’s where the outcasts, the weirdos, and the survivors take center stage. It’s where fear becomes power. 

Because theater, like q***rness, is about transformation, about creating worlds where we get to write the rules.

And because community is everything.

We do this to build a home for q***r and trans artists.

We do this so our audience feels seen, safe, scared (in a good way), and loved.

And we do this because we know Pride is not just a party… 

It’s a protest. It’s history. It’s joy and the deep knowing that we are still here. Always.

We are so grateful to scream, laugh, cry, and build this with you.Thank you for being part of this family. 🩸🖤
