MOL DYER (F, 50s–70s) – Ghostly witch; wronged, powerful, sorrowful. Minimal dialogue, big presence.
EARL MERCER (M, 40’s) – Local historian; weary, wise, haunted by the legend.
SHERIFF FRED WILLIS (M, 40s–50s) – Small-town sheriff; stoic, practical, quietly rattled.
JESS (F, 20s) – Bold, reckless friend; bravado flips to terror.
TREVOR (M, 20s) – Sarcastic bro; jokes until panic hits.
