New year, new relationship goals? 💕

As we head into 2025, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what’s working (or not) in your relationship. We spoke with Dave Lowe, MS, LPC, from the Couples Clinic of Portland, about the Gottman Method — a research-based approach to building stronger connections and communication.

Ready to strengthen your bond? Hear more advice from Dave, or book a session, in person or online, with him below.

Hint: The Gottmans found that the secret to success in relationships is found in improving the little everyday things and interactions.

Sometimes life gets a little off track — and that's okay.

If you're looking for extra support to get back on track in 2025, The Couples Clinic of Portland's Katie Stanley can help.

How? As a Certified Life Coach, she works with Portlanders to identify goals and attainable ways to reach them.

"In coaching, we do a lot of goal-oriented problem-solving," she says. "I think my favorite part is seeing how empowered my clients feel when we are able to break down some of the mental and physical barriers that are holding them back, and they realize how much control they actually have over their own lives and circumstances."

When she's not busy running The Couples Clinic of Portland, you can find her enjoying local spots.

"My favorite local spot to visit right now is Powell's Books," she says. "Grabbing a latte at Guilder Cafe and browsing the store for great books and neat gifts for the holidays is one of my favorite pastimes."

Connect with Katie and the team at The Couples Clinic of Portland to see how they can help you meet your goals in the new year: https://www.couplescounselinginportland.com/our-team/katie-stanley-office-manager/
