With so many of us staying home and slowing down, I knew I wasn’t the only one thinking about how much I missed my city and its surroundings. But that feeling was compounded by the deep unrest that gripped Portland—nearly 200 days of
relentless rioting, protests, and clashes that left the city raw and exposed. The streets were filled with tension, anger, and calls for change, and yet, amidst it all, there was a powerful sense of resilience and a fierce love for this place. From that energy, and the diverse people who stood in the heart of it, I decided to create something that would allow locals and travelers alike to represent Portland, no matter where they were. Inspired by the local places that shape us—the iconic streets, the diverse neighborhoods, and the creative energy that flows through this city—Portland Streetwear reflects that spirit.
