Greetings Lovers of Jazz, Blues and Latin grooves! On the next edition of Jazz Lives, I will be joined by award winning legend Blues/Folk guitarist, vocalist and educator, Mary Flower along with Leon Cotter of the California Honey Drops on clarinet. Their unique blend of sounds is sure to provide enjoyment in my first hour as they share their upcoming performance.

At the top of the 1:00 o’clock, trumpeter, composer, educator Bryant Allard stops by with his new release, Shared Stories with The Powerhouse Quintet. If you’re a fan of the classic Jazz sounds of Blue Note Records, this recording does not disappoint. Classics, more new releases from local artists and everything in between begins at 12:08-2 PM just for you locally at 90.7 FM and streaming at KBOO.FM. I hope you can connect and enjoy.💕🎶💕

WHY SUPPORT KBOO?

🎙KBOO has been breaking boundaries and making history since 68'. We have been around for the moon landing, the fall of the Berlin Wall, Y2K, economic crashes, protests, rallies, marches, and the rise and fall of demagogues. We've been here for 57 years, and we'll be here for the next 57.

🎙Despite the loss of funding to the Corporation of Public Broadcasting and the subsequent loss of $110,000 to KBOO in 2026, we will continue to look towards our listeners for support, because our listeners can rely on KBOO.

🎙We are committed to continuing to bring you unbiased news, engaging public affairs programming, and eclectic music.

Thank you as always for your support of your community radio station!
