September 10,2001; My beautiful parents took us out of school & brought my brother and i to see the World Trade Center in person to educate us on our country.

My grandfather worked on the 52nd floor and was President John. F. Kennedy’s right hand man appointed by Gov Rockefeller.

My grandfather helped carry President Kennedy’s casket before he was sent to heaven himself. My mom was 19 but she took life by the horns and powered on for her kids.

September 11,2001: As a country, we all found out the world would never be the same again. As a family, we found out that yesterday was the last time we’d ever be able to visit my grandfather’s old office. An incredible irony.

Something was telling my mother to bring her children to see a huge part of our families history before we didn’t have a chance to one day. What she didn’t know while standing outside of the towers, was that this was about to be the first but also very last chance to experience it.

Never forget, but power on❤️

My heart flows heavy with you and your family if you too, have a story. We recognize the impacted families & fighters on that day as heroes & we will continue to fight for our country to somehow, someway operate with love again.

Mom, thank you for embodying the raw definition of strength. Thank you for teaching us the important things in life at a young age and thank you for always powering on❤️

Dad, thank you for being our rock, our safety, and the raw definition of resilience. Thank you for keeping us disciplined
honest, and giving us the tools to be well-rounded kids trying to make the world a kinder place. Thank you for always powering on❤️.

🍴 A seafood spot in Sanford has been serving up clams since 1969 — but it’s their no tipping policy that really shocks first-timers.

Do you think a "no tipping" policy is fair if the employees are getting paid for their time? Or does tipping mean more to you than just paying an employee for their time?
