Worship leading will expose your heart
sometimes before you even know what’s hiding in it. 🙌
If you’re not careful, the platform will start shaping your identity faster than your private devotion ever did.
The stage doesn’t transform you,
It reveals you,
It reveals your pride,
Your insecurity,
Your unhealed wounds,
Your craving for validation,
Your half-formed habits that never made it to surrender. 🫣
And if your character isn’t deeper than your calling, you’ll start to collapse quietly at first until everyone notices too late.
You don’t have to be perfect to lead.
But you do have to be formed.
And that formation?
It happens when no one’s watching.
No lights,
No applause,
No platform… just Jesus! 🙏
