Established in 1982, Montinore Estate is a top producer of Biodynamic® wines in the country. The name "Montinore" combines Montana and Oregon, as the first settlers from Montana found this land reminiscent of their home. Specializing in Pinot Noir, cool-climate whites, and Northern Italian reds like Teroldego and Lagrein, their 200-acre estate in north Willamette Valley is both Biodynamic® and organic.

Biodynamic viticulture involves rituals like using cow horns filled with manure (known as Preparation 500) buried in the soil to enhance its health and vitality. This method, along with the alignment of lunar and planetary cycles, guides the timing of planting, pruning, and harvesting to create a self-sustaining ecosystem.

Rudy Marchesi, who joined in 1998, has been the driving force behind their commitment to sustainability. He started transitioning the winery to Biodynamic practices in 2002, achieving certification in 2008. Montinore also owns Tidalstar Vineyard and Laughlin Road Ranch, both organic and Biodynamic estates in AVA. Their dedication to sustainable farming has inspired many farmers across the Willamette Valley and Oregon.
wesson, the Head of Viticulture Estate, carries on this legacy. With extensive experience in Biodynamic and organic farming, Clay joined Montinore in 2023. He has been recognized for his outstanding work in land stewardship, earning the 2023 Award for Excellence in Sustainability from LIVE. Clay’s role involves managing all estate vineyards and collaborating with other growers in the Willamette Valley to promote high-quality, sustainably farmed grapes. His leadership continues to build on Montinore's reputation for excellence in Biodynamic farming​.

A new favorite way for us to enjoy Easter Sunday is in a beautiful vineyard participating in an Adult Easter Bottle Hunt 🐰🍾♥️

gave such a fun experience searching for empty wine bottles they cleverly place throughout the property 🧐

Each paid ticket came with a prize 🏆 giving everyone the opportunity to trade their find for various prizes that correlated with the number on the bottle found 👀

Pre-hunt you have the option of savoring a glass 🍷 or pre-ordered mimosas🥂 while enjoying the breathtaking view!

After the hunt sit back & relax 😌 wine is available for purchase, plus charcuterie 🧀 and s'morecuterie can be pre-ordered with your ticket purchase.
