Director Ryan Coogler has confirmed that Black Panther 3 will be his next film, according to Deadline. The first Black Panther movie was released in 2018 and was followed by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in 2022. The first film featured Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa. Boseman passed away in 2020, and people around the world still honor him.

When Coogler learned he would direct Black Panther, he and his wife Zinzi Evans visited the comic-book store he loved as a kid. Coogler picked out the two Black Panther comics they had and his wife took a photo of him. He later sent that photo to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige who said Coogler made the movie for his 8-year-old self.

Black Panther featured a mostly Black cast and crew, and the films were widely praised for their representation. Since 2018, both Black Panther films have earned more than $2.21 billion worldwide and the series continues to reach audiences around the world.
