The LaLa Playlist The LaLa playlist exists to expose Portland's local artists to the world and world's 'local' artists to Portland.

Begun by Sarah Billings as a way to give a stage to Portland musicians on a weekly basis, she eventually teamed up with the kind folks at PRP to share Portland's blues and soul scene with the world. Laura joined the broadcast September of 2016 as Sarah was preparing to take the LaLa spirit to Costa Rica in collaboration with Hotel Vista Ballena. nesday from 10am-12pm, the Lala playlist is currently digging up 'local' artists from various regional scenes across the US and abroad. Passionate about connecting you with up and coming artists, you can hear Laura's take on 99.1fm locally or globally via Prp.fm. With live performances streaming from Costa Rica and our local studio, who knows where we'll wind up next!
