Lucky Madison's artist collective came together in early 2003 as a tight group of neighborhood friends and near-strangers bound by an abiding love and passion of music making. Located at 38th and Madison, Ryan Feigh and friends talked of music and why his friends bands aren't on labels. Direct neighbors Talkdemonic and The Roulettes talked about releasing their albums and Feigh agreed to start the
small label with The Roulettes. The name 'Lucky Madison' was chosen by its first true believer, Ryan Feigh for two reasons: 1) Feigh wanted a name that expresses a home feeling of neighborhood friendship and music. 2) Feigh felt "Lucky" to have such great friends who were all talanted musicians. Since 2006, Lucky Madison has been run by Kevin O'Connor of Talkdemonic. The label has released new debut records by Ah Holly Fam'ly, World's Greatest Ghosts and ((( In Mono ))) in the last year.
