Have you written or produced a documentary, short, or feature film with a connection to Portland, Oregon? Do you have written the first ten pages of your script for a short or feature film with a tied to Portland, Oregon? It could be the scriptwriter lives here or it will be filmed here or there is a iconic PDX person, location, or major prop featured in the script. Do you have a movie trailer or a teaser for your short, feature or documentary film with any one or more of the perimeters mentioned above? If not, get going. You can also go with this angle:

Film and script submissions must be by a Portland filmmaker, director, or with a local lead actor or be about or filmed in Portland, Oregon. Portland Previews is an incredible opportunity to network with your film’s new audience, the supporting businesses, meet new crew, cast, and extras plus film investors all, who are interested in helping to build the film community in Portland, Oregon. LEFT COAST Comedy’s Table Read & Movie Party!
Join us for a night dedicated to comedy and film with LEFT COAST Comedy.
Enjoy table reads of the top contending comedic scripts from LEFT COAST Comedy's Short Comedic Scriptwriting Contest, and vote for your favorite!
The winning script will be directed and produced by LEFT COAST Comedy in 2025, with writers credits.

Scripts must submitted before midnight on October 30.

Be there when the doors open for the meet & greet - mingle with fans of films and take selfies with Fabio, FBI Agents and other interesting LEFT COAST Comedy characters, including a who's who in the Pacific Northwest film community.

Be sure to order dinner and a beverage, and save your comfy couch seat!

During the table read portion of the night, the top four scripts will be read by SAG-AFTRA and professional Pacific Northwest actors.

Audience members will be asked to vote for their favorite to help determine the winner.

Once the scripts have been read, we'll pause for a short intermission in order to tally the Audience Award votes.

Intermission to refresh and then the premiere of LEFT COAST Comedy's latest funny short films.
