My name is Natalie Mayhew and I am the creative director & founder of Fern & Maple. I love to craft, to DIY and to create parties for both adults and children – or as I like to put it, “for bigs and littles alike.”

I was born in Wellington, New Zealand, and although I have ventured far from my Kiwi roots, I remain inspired by childhood memories of "acting" as an event stylist for my mom’s get-to

A love note to my fur baby Elsa. Our sweet Valentine. Some of my favorite pictures of her. ❤️🐶
It has been a rough week with her in sick in hospital but we finally got her home today, she’s well enough for us to care for her.
Thank you all so much for the lovely messages, good vibes and prayers. I truly appreciated them. I was very stressed & worried and they helped.

Valentines Day Party Ideas - ❤️❤️Will you be my Valen-slime?!

👩‍🔬 Welcome to the slime lab! We love goo and goo and goo! 🧪 I set this one up like a slime laboratory and gave the kids all sorts of slime add-ins to experiment with - textures, colors & scents. makes this even easier!
Tips for hosts:
🦠 host in a kitchen or easy to clean location
👩‍🔬 alternatively plastic drop cloths or tablecloths are your friend
🦠 send a DIY valen-slime gift basket, supplies and labels over on the blog. Check with recipients caregivers first! 🤣

Halloween with a Summer Twist! Outdoor camping for UFO Hunters! 🛸👽
