Mark your calendars! Saturday Feb. 28th we are celebrating the release of WYZAKER WORLDWIDE’s FORMUL8 album with an in-store performance at Speck’s Records! 2-5pm, with support and Dj sets from DJ Mafia, and Matt Nelkin.

In addition to having WYZAKER tapes and CDs available, we will also be debuting some super limited lathe cut 2LP vinyl versions with alternative art that was silk screened by WYZAKER himself!

Incredibly proud to announce the release of FORMUL8, the debut album from Native American Hip-Hop artist WYZAKER WORLDWIDE! Link in bio.

Entirely written and produced by WYZAKER himself, FORMUL8 showcases the rugged, revolutionary style he’s honed over years in the culture. As a member of the multi-element Hip-Hop crew Def Con 5, as well as the all Native artist collective Burial Ground Society, WYZAKER brings a foundation built on true-school principles, delivering hard-hitting beats laced with sonic curveballs and razor-sharp lyricism. As a proud citizen of the Wallowa and Clearwater bands of Nimíípuu (Nez Perce Tribe), and descendant of the Fort McDermott Northern Paiute, each track is rich with layers of political insight, social commentary, and historical reflection making FORMUL8 an album that reveals more with every listen.

Spanning 13 tracks, the album blends vocal and instrumental cuts to tell a powerful story of individual strength, communal resilience, and generational resistance. Hip-Hop isn’t just the medium, it’s the message, wielded here with bold originality and deep reverence for the craft. Though FORMUL8 marks his solo debut, WYZAKER WORLDWIDE is no newcomer as every bar and every beat carries the weight of a lifetime dedicated to the movement.

Unlike his previous singles that are characterized by razor sharp lyricism, COLDWAY’s heavy drums and layered synth work are the elements that provide the soundtrack for survival and resistance. COLDWAY, like the other instrumental songs that appear on FORMUL8, all work to add emotional weight and moments for contemplation during what is a thematically and sonically ambitious debut album. On this so-called “Black Friday”, we ask you to decolonize your playlist and take a listen to SKREAMZ, the latest single from WYZAKER WORLDWIDE’S FORMUL8 album. Link in Bio.

SKREAMZ is a searing meditation on survival, historical memory, and Indigenous resistance. The song boldly and poetically confronts the legacy of American colonization. Its hypnotic chorus declares survival as an act of defiance, while the verse brings to life ancestral echoes, refusing to let histories stay erased and silent.

As the capstone to WYZAKER’S forthcoming album FORMUL8, SKREAMZ, and the entire project, are anchored by a solemn passage spoken in Nimiipuutimpt (Nez Perce language) by Thomas Gregory (Tátlo) that bridges past and present, language and people to the land, with a call for awareness and steadfastness in a rapidly changing world.

TERPANOIDZ, indicative of WYZAKER’s unique style, is a brilliant reflection on oppression, resilience, and identity. The song is hypnotic and haunting and features a stream of consciousness rap tracing the life of someone caught in systemic struggle, but determined to maintain individuality and awareness.

WYZAKER embodies the voice of both a survivor and an observer, moving through a world that tries to erase the marginalized, yet cannot fully contain their spirit.

Colonel Red is a true artist, committed to the craft, and to bringing life and truth with his music. Definitely encourage everyone to check out his latest album, as well as his entire catalog going back decades!

Additionally, Colonel Red & Liquid Beat have been working behind the scenes on our third collaborative project. The first being the Street Player EP, and the second being the Joy EP with producer Inkswel. We’ve been going slow and getting it right, but really excited about the direction and the results of the partnership! More details to come.

Liquid Beat Records is proud to announce our latest artist partnership with WYZAKER WORLDWIDE, a veteran Nimiipuu (Nez Perce) and Chicano artist who is a raw, multi-talented creative. As an Emcee, Producer, DJ, and visual artist, WYZAKER embodies Hip-Hop and activism as part of both the all element Def Con 5 crew, and the intertribal Indigenous art collective, Burial Ground Society.

We’ve been slowly cooking up a masterpiece of a debut full-length project for the past few years(!) and we can’t wait for you to experience his unique and uncompromising self-produced vision.

Want to humbly invite and encourage everyone in our worldwide good music family, and all our brothers, sisters, and siblings who take art and culture seriously, to attend this Sunday’s free webinar with Ahmed Alghariz of the Camps Breakerz Crew. The discussion will be hosted by the Green Olive Collective. Link in bio to register (please share and spread the word!)

The Camps Breakerz Crew was founded in the Gaza Strip in 2004 by brothers Moh Ghraiz and Ahmed Alghariz, who formed the community dance team to represent the Palestinian people and draw attention to their struggle. CB Crew shares the unique beauty of breakdancing, hip hop, and art with the people of Gaza through teaching and performances. They established the first dance school in Nuseirat Refugee Camp in 2012 providing children with professional instruction in dance, graffiti, and music.

Join the Green Olive Collective with emergency, trauma pedagogy, and dance therapist Ahmed Alghariz to discuss the way they use dance as a form of somatic release to help children restore their sense of belonging and wellbeing in the face of ongoing siege, massacre, and displacement in Gaza.
