These sold out on preorder back in November 👁️ thank you to everyone who’s been so patient waiting for them to be ready. I can’t wait to get them out to you next week along with the bonus cassette Big Air 3 — which is out digitally today on Bandcamp 🌬️

And one more update: things continue to move forward with the long awaited On Garudan Wing art editions. Expect a more thorough update soon, but they are finally nearing completion. I so deeply appreciate everyone’s support, patience, and encouragement over the past two years of labor on this project. That these are on target to ship on the two-year anniversary of the album’s release is certainly not what was planned or expected! I hope when it’s finally under needle the experience will be worth the long wait.

The follow-up to 2022’s solo piano record Mirrored Night utilizes a slightly different style and approach to the instrument, focused on longer pieces birthed from short, repeating phrases played live, with extended improvised overdubs atop. Preview track “Living Space” closes the album with radiantly visionary saxophone performed by Wednesday Knudsen (). Pre-orders for the digital, cassette, and 12” lathe-cut editions are live now via the Flower Room Bandcamp!

All the support Flower Room has received on Bandcamp Fridays and beyond in 2022 has been incredible as always. This was the first year that running the label wasn’t my full-time job, and despite many life shifts and existential whatsits over the year still managed to add 10 new titles on BC, plus 6 subscriber exclusives (+1 or 2 more coming before the end of 2022), three releases on other labels I’ve long admired (, Not Not Fun, and ), and launched two new collaborative projects (Rose & LaJoie and ML rootless)

10th anniversary cassette reissue of Herbcraft’s Flowering out July 10th! The solo, bedroom-recorded companion tape to Ashram to the Stars and bridge to full-band barnstormer The Astral Body Electric features 10 tracks (plus never-before-released contemporaneous instrumental bonus track “Orange”) that draw inspiration from Japanese psych and the experimental US/UK underground from the 60s-80s and 20tweens. A longtime fan- (and personal) favorite in the Herbcraft discography, Flowering instantly sold out of its initial cassette edition on short-lived Julia Dream Recordings, and has never before been available digitally or streaming in full.
