Duce, C.E.O. at Criminal Enterprise Records has just named Chris Beaver, a.k.a. Mr. Chip, as new Vice President and Head of A&R for the Portland based indie label. Mr.Chip had been a recording artist and producer under the CER imprint for nearly a decade before this announcement was made. "We are in a good growth stage now and Chris has been influential in maintaining our position on the regional scene", says Duce. As far as the Portland music scene goes Duce said "We have been here since 1999 and have no plans to stop releasing criminal music for our fans; we will be bringing them the hottest lyricist and production the Northwest has to offer".
