O’Maine Studios is thrilled to announce that our television program Maker’s Way, “The Instruments of Expression” has been nominated for a New England Regional Emmy® Award. The episode is nominated in the Historical/Cultural Long Form Content category. The Boston/New England 46th Annual Emmy Awards Ceremony will take place on June 10, 2023 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.
Maker’s Way features the stories of exceptional makers on a curated journey to discover thoughtfully-created products in new and unexpected destinations. “The Instruments of Expression” episode explores the ways we connect to music, through the skill and love of the artists who create musical instruments, music, and community. The episode includes visits to Jonathan Cooper Violins, Bourgeois Guitars, Portsmouth Music and Arts Center, and Namory Keita Drums.
Tristan Noyes (Executive Producer/Director) and Rory Strunk (Executive Producer) are both nominated for the Boston/New England 46th Annual Emmy Award.
