Marmoset’s humble beginnings go something like this: On a typically cloudy Portland morning in 2010, two friends met-up for coffee to dream-up a new kind of music agency —one with strong values, a focus on people, and a passion for building community. The result was Marmoset, now a globally recognized creative agency, collaborating closely with hundreds of wonderfully obscure and diverse artists,
bands and record labels, connecting music with creators and makers across the planet. In 2019, we were honored to become the first purpose-driven, certified B Corporation in the music industry — still firmly rooted in community, strong values and togetherness.
We worked with Premier Music Group to license 5 Marmoset-exclusive songs for an interactive “2023 in Preview” calendar for YETI.
Users can plan their 2023 adventures using the tool, which then produces a personalized video showcasing their 2023 in preview using music from Marmoset.

Premiering today, "All Right Here" is a love letter to NW Washington’s Mt. Baker Ski Area and the community that calls it home. Directed by Mary Rand and Liam Gallagher, the film follows Mary as she profiles the people and history of the area.

"Rooted Together" is the first nature documentary set in both the real world and the virtual world of Minecraft.
Directed by Jawahi Bertolli, the film aims to teach Minecraft fans about mangrove trees, which are important for maintaining heathy ecosystems across the globe.
The campaign has raised over $227,000 for the cause and distributed it to regional mangrove efforts around the world.

KUMARI: A Father’s Dream is the latest documentary from the team at Story Gorge.
The film follows a group of childhood friends in rural Nepal as they channel their resources and energy into fulfilling Jagat Lama's promise to his dying father; to bring medical care to their home of Kumari.
The film premiers today at Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival and will be a part of the BANFF World Tour, with screenings in over 40 countries and will be translated to up to 14 languages.

After losing a family member to addiction, Darius resolved to run 100 miles at once, to raise awareness for addiction and mental health issues in his community.

Marmoset is closed Monday, June 20th in recognition of Juneteenth, which commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. We encourage our staff to spend the day with the intention to educate and honor the meaning of what Juneteenth stands for.
In honor of Juneteenth 2022, we have donated $500 to Imagine Black, an organization building Black political participation and supporting Black leadership in Portland. Marmoset also contributed $26,270 in community investments to organizations that directly support the Black community in 2021.
