The Brew Happy Show The Love of Craft Beverages in the Pacific Northwest Our main topic of each show focuses on "fun with craft brews".

Listen to our weekly podcast, as we travel to a different craft beer location each week to discuss new trends, releases, pairings, and current events. Watch our television series which features lifestyle & travel pieces about different activities and people involved in craft beer. The series often takes place on location in the field at different breweries and can include other fun adventures involving other lifestyles that intermingle in the world of the craft brew connoisseur. Our main goal is to portray the joys of brewing (thus “Brew Happy”), and the people involved, from the brewer’s perspective, to the enthusiast’s delight (home brewer or even the modest consumer)! I, along with many of my fellow cohorts believe, that breweries and brewpubs not only create jobs but can have a positive impact on the economy. They retain other virtues as well, like the sustainability practices of many of the NW more popular breweries, or the revitalization of many of our own neighborhoods through the growth of our smaller lesser known upstart breweries resulting in a marked improvement in dilapidated neighborhoods all over the country! So as many of you know Alan Sprints from Hair of the Dog is no longer with us. Strangely, this autogenerated reel popped up on the iPhone from our interview with Alan Sprints and Dylan VanDetta a couple of years ago. He was an interesting man with a very strange brew kettle. His talent and impact has reached far into the craft brewing industry. I’ll post a link to that episode below, in case anyone would like to hear his voice. Let’s all raise a glass for Alan. Cheers! Okay so for this trip to Oregon City Brewing Company and their amazing food carts pod we chose Smashback Burger to pair with our beer. I got the Belgian Blonde and she got the Kolsch! All great options for a hot summer day. We were craving burgers so we went with the barbecue burger and some mozzarella sticks. Everything came out perfect. Such a great way to spend the day in oregoncity for sure. Cheers! FatJosh

Had to take a day trip down to oregoncity and of course we had the need to feed. Well award winning Oregon City Brewing Company and their food cart pod was the perfect stop!
