A quick glance Dok Mali Thai Kitchen, which open its doors for lunch + dinner yesterday, November 1st. 👏🏼
Located at 47 India Street, Dok Mali is inspired by the culture and flavors of the villages of Thailand. The spectacular menu is steeped in family heritage, and is influenced by Thai street food. During our lunchtime visit we opted for the lunch special Chicken Pad Thai and Bubble Tea with strawberry, mango, taro, Thai coffee, Thai tea and Thai green tea. Other menu items include Lobster Rangoons, Grilled Okra, Dumplings, Thai Noodle Soup, Lion King with braised short ribs and more. Dessert bites include Fried Ice Cream, Fried Honey Banana, and Mango Sticky Rice.
The dining room includes about 40 seats, a full bar, and a window counter overlong bustling Middle Street. The space features clean, natural elements like Thai rattan light fixtures, woven crockery and an original mural by artist Lan Bao. 🎨
Open currently Tuesday - Thursday 11:30am-8:30pm, Friday + Saturday until 9pm for dine in only. Reservations are not accepted.

First light in 1897, Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse is the only caisson-style light station in the nation that visitors can walk to. Built to warn mariners of the dangerous ledge that extended into the main shipping channel in Portland Harbor, Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse has been an fundamental part of Portland Harbor’s and Casco Bay’s history.
Today you can visit the lighthouse up close through public guided tours with the Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse Trust. Open to the general public mainly Tuesdays - Thursdays starting at 11am, guided tours run May through October. You do not need a tour to walk out onto the ledge to the lighthouse.

How are we enjoying Portland’s new bike-share program? 🚲 Have you had a chance to get on a bike and ride?
Once the rollout is complete, 200 bikes (50 of which will be electric) will be available at over 30 locations in the Portland peninsula. All you have to do is download Tandem Mobility’s Motavic app, unlock the bike by scanning its QR code, ride, and return and lock when done!
