The annual Turkey Day game marks its 113th anniversary this year, continuing the cherished tradition of Portland High School and Deering High School facing off on Thanksgiving morning.

The ice is officially back at Thompson's Point Rink!❄️⛸️ The rink reopens Friday, November 28th with daily public skating sessions on a freshly upgraded surface featuring a new chilling system and Zamboni.

Sessions are timed and ticketed, and tickets are only valid for your selected slot. You can rent skates, grab training aids, or get a quick sharpening on site. As an outdoor rink, ice conditions and hours change with the weather, so check the Thompson’s Point website for the latest schedule. Hours may vary.

When you are done on the ice, warm up at the Après Chalet with local craft beer, signature cocktails, hot grab and go bites, games, and sports with sound. Not skating. No problem. You do not need rink admission to hang out.
