Rambler Cafe is officially unveiling its newly remodeled space, bringing a fresh vision of coffee, flowers, and community together.

Since rebranding the former Rwanda Bean in April, owner Charlee-Ann Charron has transformed the café into a cozy, colorful retreat that blends handcrafted drinks with the charm of fresh blooms. The new Rambler features a refreshed design, an expanded menu of toasts, smoothies, and baked goods, and a full flower bar inspired by the 1961 truck where it all began.

This grand opening marks the next chapter for a neighborhood favorite and introduces Portland’s first true flower café. Come experience the new Rambler.

Maine Needs is celebrating five years of showing up for our community – and you’re invited to join the party.

What began in 2020 as a small, volunteer-run donation center on Forest Avenue has grown into a statewide network supporting tens of thousands of Mainers each year with basic essentials like clothing, household items, grocery gift cards, and winter gear. Their mission is simple but powerful: make it easier for neighbors to help neighbors.

This Friday, November 14th, Maine Needs is marking its five-year milestone with a celebration at Brick South at Thompson’s Point. Expect an uplifting night of community and music, with live performances from Pete Kilpatrick (6–8 pm) followed by Harsh (8–10 pm).

Funds raised through tickets and sponsorships will go directly toward providing grocery gift cards and winter necessities for individuals and families across Maine who are going without.

Come raise a glass, dance, and celebrate everything this community has built together – because when Maine shows up, amazing things happen.
