IT PREVAILS / AMERICAN ME ANNOUNCE PORTLAND ANNIVERSARY SHOW

The PDX groups will hit the stage together on November 10, 2023 in support of their debut albums.

It Prevails and American Me, two Portland-based hardcore favorites team up for a full play-through of their most recognizable and influential debut albums; The Inspiration (It Prevails), and HEAT (American Me). This show marks both bands first return to the stage in nearly four years. The show will include special guests A Hope For Home & Black Force Energy as support.

Since releasing “The Inspiration” with Rise Records 16 years ago, It Prevails has gone on to release several well received records before going on hiatus, after the release of the 2019 EP “A Life Worth Living” through Modern Empire Records.

Since releasing “HEAT” with Rise Records 15 years ago, American Me has gone on to release multiple albums via Rise Records, with their latest EP ‘Still Firing’ being released in 2017.

Thanks for the heads up from the people who let us know the Sustainer record had been taken down from all platforms.

Luckily, that problem has been rectified and ”503” will once again be available on ever major streaming service.

Hey we just wanted to give a small heads up about Interwar and the lack of updates.

We decided the best decision was to suspend operations until this awful time period is over and we can properly do our business without the possibility of hurting innocent people. Thank you for people who continually hit us up but at the time being it just isn’t feasible for us to make that happen.

We respect everyone’s opinions in regards to this but in the end it wouldn’t be morally right if we had an outbreak or super spreader event. Certain bands have been able to do limited work and luckily we have kept up on our budget so the year wasn’t a total loss. It will be exciting to get back to real life as they say and be able to put out some amazing music. There is a ton of talent brewing in PDX and it is gonna have its time to shine soon.

We hope you are well, safe, and sound.
