I'd like to let you know about an upcoming free entrepreneurship event that you may be interested in: Start Summit: Social Innovation. This is a great event for anyone interested in using innovation and collaboration to change their world for the better.

Here are some details about the event:

The Roux Institute, in partnership with the Lewiston Public Library, the City of Lewiston, and Community Organizing Alliance, invites you to join us for our upcoming Start Summit -- the opportunity for Lewiston-area community members to transform ideas into prototypes and business concepts.

Start Summit: Social Innovation will take place at the Lewiston Public Library on February 3rd from 10:00am - 5:00pm. We will kick things off with a welcome, team formation, and initial team introductions. Then we will move into our Design Thinking workshop with Owen Sanderson, followed by a catered lunch and a Founder Story with Safiya Khalid. The second half of our day is devoted to team ideation, pitch development and practice, and a pitch competition with a chance to win a $3,000 first prize or $2,000 second prize. You can expect that this event to be social, interactive, informative -- and FUN!

We are working to spread the word about this event across the Greater Lewiston area. Please sign up if you would like to join us for this free event, and share this registration link with anyone who you think would benefit from joining us:
