Season 2 is here!! A wrestler, a madman with a super-powered rubber glove, and a space princess with an Ewok sidekick walk into a neon-lit fever dream. What do they find? Chubby motorcycle luchadores, bald men with ponytails, and an El Santo movie tailor-made for the early ’90s.

We’ve name-dropped him dozens of times… and yet this is our first actual Fred Olen Ray episode?! Unbelievable, but true. Carlo stays up way past his bedtime to tell us all about Evil Toons (1992)—a movie full of unkept promises. It definitely does have a haunted book, Monique Gabrielle, and 45 seconds of a bad scary wolf that’s animated though!

New ep! Too much gay crashed Matt’s hard drive (yes, another one!), and so our final 2025 Pride episode is dropping on the 4th of July. Fitting, because what’s more American than repressed senators dating t***k heirs to a popcorn fortune? Just like this week’s movie: Traveling to Olympia (2001), a q***r shot-on-video headscratcher set in the Pacific Northwest—the Wakanda for G**s, apparently. We follow Johnny, a traumatized t***k with a duffel bag and one facial expression, as he washes dishes, processes trauma, and parties at gay cowboy bars—with beautiful musical interludes from the PNW greatest crooners. This is a weird one! With special guests and (sort of, he got violent diarrhea after the first 15 mins and had to leave)
