Adam is also the producer for the downtempo/beats band, THE NEW LAW. Through over a decade of experience in audio production, recording, mixing, and mastering of various genres, especially electronic and hip-hop, he has g*ined knowledge of all aspects of an audio production. From setting up a studio, to recording, to producing, sampling, mixing, mastering, releasing his own music on his own indepe
ndent record label, and promoting his releases, Adam has g*ined knowledge to help the independent artists get their music to the public fanbase, and most importantly, make it sound great. Adam will consult with the artist and labels and make sure they get what they want out of mastering. He will not just “make it loud”, he will analyze the tracks to see what needs to be fixed, beefed/warmed/sweetened, and he will make the track sound as the artist envisioned it. If you want your track to sound natural and clean, he will provide a natural master. If you want your track to be the most banging track on a club system, he will do that too. If you have tracks that differ in sound, for instance one sounding dull and another too sharp, and you want it to be cohesive sounding on the release, he will make it happen. He only accepts payment until the artist is 100% satisfied. BreakPoint Mastering is dedicated to providing the best customer experience and satisfaction that the artist or record label wants.

Huge news! So happy for you chong the nomad :)
Seattle beatsmith, producer and multi-instrumentalist Chong the Nomad contributed to the soundtrack of the highly anticipated Marvel film "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings." Here's how it happened.
Tay Sean can do no wrong
One of the best devs in the business just released a new one. Been buying his plugins since like 2006 and won't stop. Excited to give this one a go. It'll be fantastic no doubt.

I’ve now had a week with this piece in my studio and I have to say I’m so impressed by it. .audio makes QUALITY gear. I used to have a Dangerous Liaison in my studio as my mastering console to patch in and out different pieces in my rack. It worked out and was helpful but I never really liked it for multiple reasons (not gonna dive into that here since the focus is on this piece).
I got rid of the Liaison and I moved to point to point with my gear for a few years. But I always missed the convenience of plugging in and out different pieces and rearranging on a console with the ease of a simple button push. I kept looking at the Dutch Audio pieces. Curiosity got me. And I’m so glad it did.
This thing is incredible. It is 100% neutral in the chain. Absolutely can’t tell that it’s there, I did blind A/B tests. And it can swap inserts back and forth, Inserts in front of chain can be moved all the way to the end, it has parallel inserts with very solid blend control, mid side processing and width control, Gain k***s for pre and post inserts to drive in and out, and so much more. It is straight quality. Switches and k***s are some of the best in my rack. The ease and sound of my work has leveled up immensely from this piece alone and I’m so much more comfortable with it in front of me. Huge thanks to Jeffrey de Gans at .audio for being so helpful and working with me to do some custom bits on this piece. Incredibly smart and the nicest in the business. Happy customer here. Oh and he shipped it with a bag of stroopwafels which made everyone happy here. 🧇 🤤
Saying goodbye to the Foote Control P4S ME compressor today. It’s the first of a couple things to be moving on as the year closes. It’s heading to a studio in NYC. It served me well and was on hundreds of releases. Big rock’n’roll sound from it. The auto release was really handy and it had a way of making the low mids on certain tracks really punch through the mix. I’ll miss it but I started to use it less and less this last couple years, utilizing compression with cleaner pieces and leaving the color to my tube eqs more. Always trying to fine tune the process and learn every day.
Something special will be replacing it though. I’m really excited to update this rig and I think the results will be worth it.
With so many people making records at home these days, I've been recommending stem mastering when they aren't 100% confident on the mixes. Basically, send stems/groups of drum, vox, guitar, bass, tracks of the mix separately, and let me adjust the levels and apply subtle effects and such when I master. I've been doing it a lot lately and I really have been enjoying it. It's not mixing, but it's also not straight mastering. It's a little in between and it's getting really solid results. Highly recommend.
Beautiful warm blanket of sound. It's the perfect album for a fall weekend, sipping coffee, zoning out watching leaves fall, and witnessing a fascist administration crumble. Congrats Secret School on one of my favorite albums I've worked on this year.

After being smoked out of the studio for a week, I can finally breathe in here. Playing catch up now...
Smoke rolling over North Portland this evening. Stay safe everyone.
New EP out from Ghost Shift on mastered by me. Intimate and heady ambient music written, recorded and mixed by about healing from the darker and more lonely times in life. The EP goes from dark to light and ends on a happier note and it is really touching to hear something so personal as well as something a lot of us are dealing with. Thanks Ronnie for sharing your most vulnerable side with us and making such beautiful music. I absolutely love this release. ‘Silver Lake’ out now.
For those needing those late night drive synth jams. New album out by Crested. It's a sick one. Was told to go big on this and had a blast.

10k+ strong last night in Portland. Gonna use this post to highlight a solid tip from on Twitter: “There are so many ways to help without being on the ground. Report police scanner/movements, deliver supplies, send money to mutual aid networks, provide childcare for people in the streets, signal-boost local organizers you trust, don't perpetuate the "bad protester" narrative.” Also, don’t follow local news. It’s all drama and skewed. Go on Twitter or live streams. If you do go, wear a mask, gloves, bring water and sanitizer, and ear plugs (rumors of police to use sound cannons to replace tear gas). Also if you take any pics and post, blur obvious faces (I did here using Censor app). Be safe. Help each other out. Love you all. ❤️ @ Portland, Oregon

A shot from last night catching up on all the masters. This month has been crazy with everyone staying home. People are being extra creative. I’m getting submissions almost hourly this past couple weeks. I’m getting through them working night and day but I’m asking for a little more patience than usual because the submissions keep coming. I just want to let everyone know I’m so thankful for them to be trusting me with their music. With all the uncertainty and fear and chaos out there, being able to do this really helps me feel anchored. Love you all and I hope everyone is staying safe. Keep making art, keeping following your passions, and keep supporting those on the front lines and those in need. Also, if you are needing mastering but are financially hurting, I understand. Hit me up anyways and we can work something out. You shouldn’t have to take a lesser path because of this situation. We can make it work. ❤️
Rainy Saturday quarantine with my crew.. hope everyone is healthy and staying safe.
Check out the epic new single from The Spider Ferns. Mastered here :)
It’s an understatement to say it's been a rough couple of years for Alton and Kelly Fleek, the married duo that makes dark electronic pop under the name The Spider Ferns. After an impressive debut with 2015’s debut full-length Soon Enough and 2016’s EP Safety, the duo was on a quick trajectory...
Happy birthday to my grandma, Beatrice. Today she would be 97. She passed away a couple years ago but her love for music, art, humor, and pure stubbornness lives on through me. Here she is playing the marimba for soldiers flying out to WW2. She played and toured in jazz and big bands back in the day and needed 2 cars to transport her marimba. Miss you Bea ❤️
