When I tell you that I am so to God for allowing me to see yet another year… He has been better than good to me.

Some know that I battle with However, most don’t know that on March 1, 2026, I suffered my 2nd sub-massive Pulmonary Embolism in 2 years. The doctors told me that if I would have continued to walk around and not gone to the hospital when I did, I had a 50/50 chance of survival. But God…. HALLELUJAH!! He saw fit to continue to let me be here. He has a purpose and plan for my life.

So in this 45th Chapter of life, even though the road to recovery has been and will continue to be difficult at times, as long as I have breath, I will walk boldly with gratitude; I will be thankful for the little things and small wins in life; I will continue to speak positivity over myself and others; most of all, no matter what it looks like, I will continue to trust God!
I am so glad I don’t look like what I been through! Happy Birthday Me; 45 looks good on you!

This vlog finds me in April, a few days away from my 43 birthday. This day, I was having a hard time, but had to encourage myself into a positive mindset, which can be hard when traversing a difficult road. However, I am encouraged, and want to encourage all of you that your current trial is only temporary.

At times we are so overwhelmed by our circumstances that we forget that “This too shall pass”. At times we have no one around to remind us, encourage us, or speak positivity over us. But there is always you! Get in the mirror and speak, encourage, and remind yourself: This trial is temporary; this pain won’t last; it won’t be like this always; your latter is greater than your former; your best is yet to come! You are a light in the darkness!
