At a high school hockey game inside an ice rink in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, a senior was on the ice celebrating his Senior Night.

Instead, in a matter of moments, he lost his mom, his dad, and his sister. His entire world changed while he was simply playing the sport he loves.

This isn’t just another headline. This is a child who now has to live with unimaginable loss.

It’s also a painful reminder of how important mental health care, early intervention, and responsible gun access truly are. No family should ever have to endure something like this.

Please keep him and everyone affected in your thoughts. 🤍

Is it weird to be obsessed with your spouse? Because I am, and I’m not sorry about it.

When someone becomes your calm, your safe place, your exhale… That’s not obsession, that’s love done right.

How do you know you found your legit soulmate?

For me, it’s the way he stays calm in my chaos. Even in the middle of my hormonal, dramatic, completely ridiculous moments, he stays cool, collected, and steady. He refuses to match my negative energy. Instead, he softens it.

He’s willing to do absolutely anything and everything for me. Not because he has to, but because he wants to. And even when I’m not at my best, he still looks at me like I’m the most amazing thing in the world.

He’s my peace.
My safe place.
My calm in the storm.

Sometimes I just want to squeeze him, kiss him, love him endlessly. I love this man so much it literally makes my heart happy. And if that’s “obsessed,” then I’m perfectly okay with that. ❤️

Superbowl Halftime Show?

Turning Point All American Halftime Show?

How about….Whatever tickles your fancy!

Does it really matter what someone decides to watch under their own roof?

Why are we making such a huge deal over this.

WHO CARES!

You do you, boo!!

"So your back's backed up against the wall
And the bandwagon's fallin' right off
And you're hearin' all the talk about, "Maybe you should think about
What you're gonna do if it don't work out"

It ain't about if it makes sense
'Cause if the boot do, it don't fit
As far as I can see, there ain't no way to be
Somebody if you're just 'gon quit

So, if you got a fire, don't lose it
If you got a do-or-die dream, do it
If you got somethin' to prove, go on and prove it
Don't let nobody clip your wings

Keep your head down, keep on the blinders
Tune out the doubters and all the closed minders
If it's in your blood, fallin' down ain't enough
To change who you were born to be

Gettin' back up, that's the only backup plan you need

Well life's got a lot of sticks and stones
And a blade that'll cut you to the bone
But if you're doing what you love and it kills you
Well, you can live with that all day long"

The cat destroyed our closet walls. My attempt at fixing them. Still work left to do!

PSA: Buckle Up — Before You Break a Family.

Seatbelts save lives. But only if you use them.

Most crashes happen on the drive you’ve done a thousand times. A deer runs out. Ice steals your tires. A car crosses the line. One second — and a family’s future is rewritten.

Without a seatbelt, you don’t just get injured. You get ejected. You become a missile. You hit glass, steel, pavement — and sometimes you don’t get back up.

I’ll beg you until I’m blue in the face — but only you can make the choice.

Not wearing one isn’t brave. It’s careless.

It’s a mother being told her baby isn’t coming home.
It’s a father identifying his child in a hospital.
It’s kids asking why their parent isn’t answering the phone anymore.
It’s empty bedrooms. Empty chairs. A lifetime of “what ifs.”

All because of, “It won’t happen to me.”

As a dispatcher, I hear the screams, the silence, and the moments families are shattered in seconds.

Please — don’t be that call.
Don’t be the reason someone has to bury their child.

Buckle up. Every ride. Every time.
— Alanna, 911 Dispatcher

Sometimes the man who becomes “Dad” wasn’t there at the beginning.
He didn’t have to be.
He chose to be.

He’s the one who notices what you need before you say it.
Who remembers how you take your cereal, what scares you, what makes you laugh.
He shows up, on ordinary days and on the ones that matter most.

He didn’t give you his last name or his DNA.
He gave you his time.
His patience.
His protection.

Fatherhood isn’t about where you came from.
It’s about who stays.
Who shows up steady.
Who makes a child feel safe, seen, and loved.

And sometimes the strongest love comes from the man who stepped into the role and never once looked back.
