Today at the Mansfield Kiwanis luncheon, I was on vocal rest so I got to practice my asl with Miss Greater Cleveland as my wonderful voice❤️
As a vocalist my voice has to be up to par for the talent competition, so I took the opportunity to introduce myself and talk about my CSI through sign language! My sign is not the best but the effort to break down communication barriers is!❤️

Wow, what an incredible experience. The judges were so kind, and I truly enjoyed every moment of our conversation. ❤️

This year, I made a promise to celebrate the small wins and be proud of the person I am. Today was one of those moments. No matter the outcome, I walked into that room as my authentic self, shared my heart, and gave it my best.

For that alone, I am proud. ❤️✨

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to my American Heart Association campaign and supported my journey to Miss Ohio!

Without your support, I can’t imagine where I would be.

Growing up in Portsmouth, I have always had a love for our community, our small businesses, and, most of all, the heart of Appalachian hospitality.

I am deeply grateful for all of the love and support I have received over the last six months. I cannot wait to represent you at Miss Ohio! ❤️

This is my “why?”

I spent a lot of time of my life, debating on what I was to major in. I focused way too much on what others thought I should be doing with my life. Until I finally listened to heart. God has given me a heart of service. The passion to serve the underserved.
I made the decision to dedicate my life to helping children in difficult situations, no matter how big or small that may be.
There are so many reasons that add up to why I chose this path, that could initially break my heart but it is the smiles of change that make it worth the heartache.
This is the how I foster the Future.
