Here's a glimpse of our August 28th Hampton Roads Doxa Dinner at the Woman's Club of Portsmouth! The Doxa Dinner community funded micro-grant totaled $1000 and StudioKuumba took home the prize!

Congratulations, Alora Bess!

Studio Kuumba helps adults rediscover the joy of creative play. In a welcoming and beautiful space, Alora empowers individuals and groups to explore their artistic potential, nurture their well-being, and connect with others through meaningful, hands-on creativity.

Alora plans to use the Doxa Dinner micro-grant to scale the creative-centered workshop side of her business; building the capacity to reach more organizations, strengthen professional development offerings, and expand the impact of creativity as a tool for well-being and connection.

Thursday night was about more than pitches; it was about neighbors breaking bread, sharing stories, and in doing so, celebrating the beauty of community.

These balmy summer days bring back the unforgettable memories of the most amazing night with the best vendor team imaginable! The warm breeze, the twinkling lights, and the infectious energy of the crowd all come flooding back as we reminisce about the incredible Summer Social 2023. It was truly a night to remember, one that will be etched in our minds for years to come. The perfect blend of fun, friends, and fantastic food made it an unforgettable experience.
