✨ “What if squirrels are more than just road hazards?”
Lately, I’ve noticed more squirrels darting into traffic… and it got me thinking. Could these twitchy little creatures actually be barometers for bigger shifts — in the environment, in consciousness, even before global events?

I wrote about:

In the mid-1800s, Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis made a shocking discovery in Vienna: handwashing could save lives.

Mothers were dying from “childbed fever” at terrifying rates. Semmelweis noticed something no one else dared to: doctors were moving straight from dissecting corpses to delivering babies — without washing their hands.

He demanded they wash with chlorine solution. Death rates dropped from 18% to 2%. It should’ve changed medicine forever.

But the doctors?
• They thought it was an insult.
• They didn’t believe in invisible germs.
• Their ego mattered more than truth.

Semmelweis was mocked, dismissed, and eventually died in obscurity. Only later, when germ theory was proven, did medicine admit:
👉 “Oh. Of course handwashing saves lives.”

Sometimes the truth is so obvious, it takes ego to blind us.

Iykyk I love salt bagels, this one is 100% organic and was eaten just moments after it came out of the onion. Still have to work on formation of the bagel, but the dough and the chew was spot on!
