Vogue Business reinforces what I tell my clients every day:
Two things are accelerating,fast.
1. Luxury brands are being forced to earn cultural relevance, not just buy attention.
2. Founders are stepping into the spotlight because product alone isn’t enough anymore.
because yes, Gen Z will dismiss a brand for good if it feels transactional, tone-deaf, or “salesy” in the wrong moment.
Here’s the real shift:
People don’t bond with logos. They bond with belief...and belief travels fastest through a human voice.
But most founders misunderstand what “personal brand” means. They think it’s content when it’s not.
A founder-led brand only works when the founder becomes the clearest vessel for the brand system:
a. What the brand stands for (and refuses)
b. How it shows up in culture
c. How it looks, sounds, behaves, and delivers
d. How every touchpoint reinforces trust
That’s what I build.
My approach (Vision → Velocity):
Discovery
Envision
Build.
No I cannot tell you what exactly that means because then you'll know my secrets!
In 2026
if Brand = trust.
then The system is how you earn it.
and The founder is how you transmit it.
Do you believe this syllogistic reasoning? Is it sound?
If you’re a founder trying to grow in a crowded market, don’t ask: “What should I post?” Ask: “What do I stand for?”
I could go deep on this, but I’d rather hear your POV:
What do you think is driving the founder-brand era: trust, culture, or pure saturation?
