Last year, we did our first cover crop trial to test out the capabilities of using a drone to broadcast in-season.

This year, I am looking to expand in-season crop application to possibly provide increased feed for the cattle in the fall by starting a cover crop in-season and observe the impact on yield. Depending on the results, we can decide whether to utilize cover crops more with the beef to provide longer-lasting feed in the fall. Here are our results!
