We offer games on a wide range of historical periods, from early chariot battles to Vietnam and the "6 Day War." While heavily involved with WW2 subjects, we are getting more and more American Civil War and American Revolution titles in. IT'S "CYBER MONDAY"-- ALL DECEMBER!

So we will leave this post up another day-- and add some clarity to the "Get 1 over" photo.

The month of December marks some grim milestones during WW2. To help remember the awesome events in the various Decembers across those years, we have some fun freebies for anyone making a purchase at our site.
Spend $45.00 or more (any previous orders are excluded), and;
Order between now and through Dec. 24th. You can pick one of these games (while supplies last) for FREE!

Game details on each photo, including the "code" to add in the Notes at checkout.

While we have a pretty good inventory of all three, we never know when suddenly everyone will want the same game-- so "while supplies last" has to be added.

This does not include "Endangered Species" or "Pre-Orders," but everything else applies--

INCLUDING the "Get 1 over on Steve" promo-- for another, full-sized FREE game. Details for that in the photo.

Come visit the web site and start picking! https://www.atomagazine.com/index.cfm

While we love that the video about "Roman Roads" uses a cart (and not a chariot!), the cool video is just the cherry on top. Once you click into the "map" section, you are off on an amazing journey with incredible details, including info on every section of road, and tools for exploration. You could spend a LOT of time with this site!

We wanted to share some art we have always appreciated.

A detail from the painting "Sons of Erin" , the Irish Brigade at the battle of Antietam, September 17, 1862. These figures are set well back in the painting so about 6 inches tall and not a detailed as the closer ones. Print is long sold out and might be available on the secondary market.

It's an interesting article about the use of WW1 'flying aces' for propaganda/"morale building, and we appreciate the discussion about B.Bishop's... uneasy Victoria Cross. (Happy to start a discussion below!). We do find it bizarre the author claims that Boelcke was "only credited with 19 victories at the time of his death, but has now been granted forty, scholarship having posthumously overcome his modesty." Say what? MvR commented on 40 victories right after OB died. Hmm.

What do you think?
