A screening of the short film "Shadow and the Rabbit (2022)," free and open to the public, will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Pottsville Free Public Library in Pottsville, Pa. Author and filmmaker Stephen Pytak will be there at noon selling and signing copies of his novels. The screening will begin at 12:30 p.m.

One of the main characters in the fifth and sixth novels by Stephen Pytak is "Subrata," a queen of the underworld who believes she is a vampire who is more than 200 years old. IN 2015, Stephen took a chapter from book six and made a short film out of it called "Two Twenty-Four." Here's the trailer. The film will be on YouTube on 2.24.16. It stars Xiomara as "Subrata," Stephen Davey as "Daemon Clay" and Victoria Vaughn Cosplay as "Corinn / The .40 Caliber Mouse."
