Tonight meant a lot to me.

When I first started following independent wrestling media, one of the people whose content I watched was . Seeing what he was doing helped inspire me to start my own journey with Wrestle World Syndicate.

Tonight at ACW AfterShock 2 I finally got to meet him and talk with him.

That’s what you call a full circle moment.

I hope to see you once again at ACW sometime.

Today, Wrestle World Syndicate remembers and celebrates the life of Steve Irwin.

Steve would have turned 64 years old today.

Known around the world as “The Crocodile Hunter,” Steve dedicated his life to wildlife conservation, education, and inspiring millions to respect and protect animals. His passion, energy, and fearless love for nature made him one of the most unforgettable personalities of our time.

Before his passing, Steve once made it clear that if he were ever to die at the hands of an animal, no one should blame the animal. It would simply be part of the risks he willingly took in pursuit of conservation and understanding wildlife.

Tragically, on September 4, 2006, while filming a documentary, Steve was struck by a stingray barb that pierced his chest and heart. It was a devastating loss felt across the globe.

But his legacy did not end that day.

Through conservation efforts, education, and the continued work of his family, Steve’s mission lives on, reminding us all to respect wildlife, protect the planet, and approach the natural world with courage and compassion.

Today we celebrate his life, his passion, and the impact he made on generations.

Rest easy, Steve. Your legacy is forever wild. 🌎🦘
