The shootings that have been happening in the US has been growing at a staggering rate. We as humans need to be able to rationalize and moderate our emotional dispositions. The world is a horrifying place but it is also a stunningly beautiful and wonderfully hopeful place. The silver lining is there to be seen but it is up to each of us to put effort into opening our eyes. Love yourself and love others. That means putting in effort to see what there is to love.

I'll be posting some top tens lists from pop culture in about ten minutes. I'll be starting with ANIME series/movies under the Rating of NC-17. If you want tosee the NC-17 list I can do one on request.

On Saturday evening I'll be seeing Midsommar and afterward posting a review. My reviews are often comprehensive and every attempt is made to remove bias. Art is complex and often requires a complex eye when defining it.

I wanted to make a post apologizing for my absence. I live in the US and have been overwhelmed with not only our sociopolitical hardships but also that of the entire developed world. I am so sorry about everything that has gone without mention in regards to specificity. I suffer from severe suicidal depression coupled with extreme anxiety that makes my day to day life quite difficult. The Projectionist's Window is not for or about me but about building a community. Starting tomorrow their will be multiple daily posts regarding pop culture and some current affairs relating to humanism and egalitarian dispositions. At The Projectionist's Window we believe in true equality but must enforce a stern rule against hostility and inflammatory discussions. Our hearts mourn all victims of life's difficulty globally and wish those who see our posts a safe and long life no matter their background.

Thank you for your time,

Nathaniel Hayworth

I'm very sorry. To those affected by the earthquake and horrendous tragedies against humanity that are going on across the U.S. I have been crippled with depression regarding the plight of the families affected by our tyranny and haven't been able to much light in the world. A number of good and bad films have released recently though I've had little ability to see most. I truly apologize.

I greatly apologize for my long absence. The many tragedies we've faced as humans have emotionally taken a great toll. Thank you for your patience.

Thoughts on the new Child's Play film, anyone?

It will bomb with loyalists and those who see the weakness in it not being its own entity. Its greatest flaw is not recognizing that it should have been its own film. Also it's a rip off of Small Soldiers more than Child's Play which makes it a strange amalgamation of ideas that are both conflicting and derivative in regards to one another.

I apologize for my delayed response to the horrifying tragedies of the past week. The people of Sri Lanka have suffered a terrible loss amd I mourn for all touched by this truly evil crime against humanity. In a different way I also fell disheartened that such a piece of history was burned in Paris. Religious affiliation aside, the true crime that came of that was how greatly it distracted the world from the more presently important matter at hand. I am sad that the architecture and general history of that building has been so permanently destroyed in so many places. The religious affiliation of the building does not outweigh its historical significance. The people of Sri Lanka, your well being and heavy hearts are in our thoughts.
