Custom "Blitz Bag" recently completed. Saddle and climbing gear fit into the batwings, roll pouch bottom for rappel kit and/or jacket. Opens up to hang on the tree and provide a shelf. Removable water bottle or Thermocell holders.

Speaking of simple.
CGM Gear hangers also have no moving parts, are reversible, and can accommodate amsteel, 550 cord, up to 1" straps and have a removable stinger hook. Built in shooting hole if you are good.
