Today we received a major donation for Paddles for Patriots. Thank you to Anthony Silver for gifting a Mohawk canoe that will be used directly to get veterans out on the water. This contribution immediately strengthens our program and expands what we can offer to local veterans.

If you have outdoor gear you’d like to donate, items can be dropped off through Powhatan Parks and Recreation or by contacting Homeland Homestead directly.
Every piece of usable equipment goes right back into supporting veteran programming.

At Homeland Homestead, we believe in building what lasts and protecting what matters.

We’ve launched an Outdoor Gear & Clothing Drive supporting Paddles for Patriots, a veteran-led outdoor initiative helping other veterans rediscover purpose and connection through time in the outdoors.

Donations and resales directly support local veteran programs and help repurpose quality gear for those who need it most.

If you’ve got outdoor gear sitting unused, we’ll gladly put it to work for a good cause.
