🎄 FESTIVAL OF TREES GIVEAWAY 🎄

We’re partnering with to give two winners a special way to kick off Christmas here in Arizona’s Christmas City. Festival of Trees Prescott is filled with beautifully decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, and holiday displays in the heart of Prescott, all while supporting a great local cause. This year, net proceeds benefit the Coalition for Compassion and Justice ( ).

1st Prize: 2 Jingle Mingle tickets (value $130)
Jingle Mingle on November 18, 6 pm to 9 pm is an adults-only, cocktail-style evening out at . Enjoy holiday drinks, hors d’oeuvres, a special sneak peek at the designer trees, wreaths, and holiday displays, and a chance to vote for your favorites.

2nd Prize: 2 General Admission tickets (value $20)
General Admission runs November 20 to 22 at Sam Hill Warehouse and is all about family fun, with Christmas entertainment, Santa, face painting, and more surrounded by beautifully decorated trees and wreaths where you can also vote for your favorites.

We will choose two winners. The first winner will receive the Jingle Mingle tickets and the second winner will receive the General Admission tickets.

Big changes to Arizona school lunches are already here — and more are coming in 2027.

If your kiddo grabs breakfast or lunch at school, you’ve probably seen some quiet menu updates:
➡️ Less sugar in cereal, yogurt, and milk
➡️ More whole grain breads, rolls, tortillas
➡️ Smarter afterschool snacks

These are part of new USDA school meal standards that Arizona schools are now following — with even bigger updates coming in 2027, including a new rule to keep added sugars under 10% of total calories across the week.

This isn’t about taking away favorites. It’s about keeping meals balanced — and giving kids a healthier foundation without turning school lunch into a battleground.
