UPDATE: The tornado continues to dissipate and a funnel re-forms. It’s been reported the tornado has touched ground and three homes affected at this time. No reported injuries.

Residences have been informed by the Navajo Police Department to seek shelter, stay off the roads and do not drive in the area.

The Utah Highway Patrol and San Juan County Sheriff’s are enroute to the area.

RED DIRT CONCERT THIS FRIDAY: SEPTEMBER 12

This week’s Red Dirt Concert features a 3-Act Solo Performer Showcase! Join us for an intimate experience with three distinct and talented musicians!

Jake Williams performs original, dynamic and lively instrumental guitar compositions. Alice Luke showcases lyrical reflection on the fluctuations of youth, optimism and curiosity in the formation of words and the unfolding of life. Rob MacMullan, with his strong and soothing voice, extends the invitation to connect with each other and ourselves.

Come find a seat on the lawn and join your community as the sun shines and sets while we are all taken on a journey together through the performance and song of our featured artists during this unique and spectacular songwriter’s showcase!

The fall Red Dirt Concert Series will be held every Friday in September from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Bring a blanket, chair, non-alcoholic beverages, and a picnic to enjoy the free show at the beautiful Posse Grounds Pavilion, located at 505 Posse Ground Road.
