We let AI create this promotional graphic.

The dates are wrong. The location is wrong. The logo is wrong. So much is wrong.

Lucky for us, our keynote speaker at the Summit is going to teach us how to better utilize AI. Because this isn’t it.

Dan Kahn of Kahn Media will teach Summit attendees the best ways to use AI to break through the noise. (Spoiler: creating crappy graphics is not it.)

👋Welcome to POMA’s newest Associate Media Member – Michael Walsh!

Mike is the Managing Director of Terrapin Coastal Imagery.

Mike is retired from the United States Department of Homeland Security, where he served as the Supervisory Explosives Specialist in Charge for the states of New Jersey and Delaware. Prior to joining DHS, Mike served with the New York City Police Department for twenty-one years.

His first paid photography assignment was in 1983 when he shot photos of the burials of indigent citizen for the Archive of the City of New York at Potters Field Bronx, NY.

There’s something timeless about conversations that happen around a fire. No agendas, no pressure—just people, stories and the kind of connection that can’t be rushed. That spirit is exactly what makes Campfire Connections the heartbeat of this year’s POMA Summit.

While the Summit brings together the best in outdoor media and industry, it’s the three evenings of Campfire Connections that truly set the experience apart. These gatherings aren’t just social hours—they’re where relationships begin, ideas take shape and collaborations find their footing.
