📢 Meet the POMA Board of Directors
📍 Justin Morrissey has worked with NSSF® for more than a decade and currently manages marketing and communications efforts related to NSSF programs, events, and resources. As a mentor, one of his passion programs at NSSF is the +ONE® mentor activation initiative. Justin spends time away from his desk enjoying the company of his wife Abby, daughter Hallie, and black lab Gomer, taking care of animals on his farm in Wisconsin, and managing wildlife habitat projects at his hunting property. Morrissey is a mentor, conservationist, aspiring homesteader, hockey fan, and traveler, among many other things.
💼 Justin decided to serve on the POMA BOD because POMA has been a major accelerator in his career, and he would like to help others find the same benefits he found in POMA. POMA should represent unmatched growth in learning, networking, and career opportunities. Justin is excited to work with the POMA team to leverage new technology and redefine industry best practices to ensure our members see POMA as a necessary ally throughout their career path.
💡 Fun Fact: Justin first started recording video when he was 12 years old on backyard hunts with his brother and one of his best friends who lived down the street. They used a Sony Handycam that recorded to DV tapes. Most recordings of their adventures were lost over time due to reusing tapes both on purpose and sometimes on accident. In high school Justin upgraded to a professional-quality Sony Z7U video camcorder by getting his parents to co-sign on a loan from a local bank.
