The night before market day always feels a little bit special here in The County. Tomorrow morning, from 8:30 to 12:30, the Presque Isle Farmers' Market will be buzzing with fresh produce, homemade goods, and familiar faces.

As you wind down tonight, dream about crisp vegetables, local meats, baked treats, honey, and handcrafted items waiting for you bright and early. Our vendors have been busy preparing, harvesting, baking, and creating so that you can fill your baskets with the best Aroostook County has to offer.

Get a good night’s rest—because Saturday mornings are for the market. We’ll see you at the Presque Isle Pavilion tomorrow!

Fall Foliage is on its way! Follow &Aroostook County Tourism for updates!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! 🎶🍁🍂 The 2025 State of Maine Fall Foliage Forecast looks promising for Aroostook County. A few maple trees have already begun to turn, and there's a noticeable chill in the air. While most of The County isn't yet glowing with the deep reds of autumn, some trees are starting to put on a spectacular show.

Peak in Aroostook? It's usually the first weekend in October and it is the first place in New England to get fall color!

🎠 The Northern Maine Fairgrounds in Presque Isle is buzzing with a Mini Fair Weekend entitled Crisp Nights & Carnival Lights—Thursday through Sunday! Enjoy Smokey’s Greater Shows carnival rides 🎢, live music 🎶, food trucks 🍔, and family fun.

⭐ Highlights include:
🎸 French Toast – Aroostook’s favorite classic rock cover band, Saturday at 5 p.m.
🎤 Deadly Desire – Southern Maine’s powerhouse cover band, Saturday at 7 p.m.
🚗💥 And on Sunday, don’t miss the always-thrilling Demolition Derby at 4 p.m.!

🥕 In Houlton, it’s Harvest Fest in Market Square from 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.—celebrate the season with local produce, crafts, music, homemade goodies, and more.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Aroostook House of Comfort is hosting their 3rd Annual Walk for Hospice at the Caribou High School Track and Trails from 8 - 11 a.m. Let’s work together to raise money for this important hospice home in Aroostook!

⚔️ In Limestone, step back in time at the Renaissance Fair 2025: Swords & Sonnets 🏰 at Albert Michaud Memorial Park, Saturday & Sunday from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Expect live music, blacksmithing, woodworking, and plenty of medieval fun!

🏁 In Caribou, Spud Speedway hosts the International Superpull starting at 10 a.m.—get ready for raw horsepower and rumbling engines! 🚜💨

🎵 In New Sweden, 40 Thieves presents Coddiwomple at Thomas Park, 12–5 p.m.—a brand new live music event featuring songwriters and bands from across Maine, including 40 Thieves, Dark Hollow Bottle Co., Hymn For Her, Jaded Ravins, and Matt LaJoie. Plus food by Mainely Meat and Potatoes and more! 🍖

🥏 And at the Fort Kent Outdoor Center, it’s their first-ever Mid-Month Madness Disc Golf Tourney, Saturday & Sunday from 12–6 p.m. Get your team registered online.
