We don’t even know where to start! This weekend was a huge blessing to us at Desert Thunder Raceway Foundation!
First- we want to thank our drivers- many traveled hours to be here and of course our regulars! We would not be here without you all.
Secondly - New friends are being made, aka race family ❤️🏁 We received many kind words & messages.
Thirdly- Thanks to our Fans, Sponsors, Food vendors and Wellington Fire Department for also being a huge part of who we are! We had an awesome turnout of fans this past weekend. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did!

I had a great meeting with the Utah Central Association of Realtors Carbon Emery Chapter, it was very informative and what a great group to address. Thank you for the invitation, I presented my goals, & qualifications and listened to what they had to say about what is happening in Price city and Carbon county. A lot of comment, and questions, their needs reflect a lot of the issues in our community.
Again I want to thank them for the opportunity, and a great lunch.

🍎 Apples for Teachers Alert! 🍎

This month we’re proud to recognize Shawn Smith as our July Apples for Teachers nominee! Mr. Smith, or “Smithers” as some of his students call him, isn’t just a Language Arts teacher—he’s the kind of teacher who makes learning FUN, bringing interesting topics (even essays about tattoos!) to life in the classroom. He also runs PTV (Pirate TV), helping his students put together a 25-minute show, acting and teaching along the way.

He’s a role model to everyone, and as Jaxson Bray said best, “If you ever meet the dude, he’s the nicest guy you’ll ever meet.”
