We’re back on the road for another shoulder season camping adventure!

First stop: Letchworth State Park, NY — often called the Grand Canyon of the East — and it truly lived up to the name.

A bit of mist and light rain only added to the fall atmosphere. Crisp air, colorful leaves, peaceful trails — and yes, we even sipped on some hazelnut coffee!

Unfortunately, the internet connection here is pretty rough, so we’ll have to wait to upload photos from the Middle Falls area once we have better service.

Our Grand Design Imagine 2600 RB has a brand-new Unity board installed and is finally fully operational after months of downtime. 🙌

We did enjoy the chance to dream a little while exploring the Brinkley, and we’ll get there someday—but today’s not that day.

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up our road trip than with a visit to Congaree National Park.

A peaceful hike and a serene canoe ride through the park revealed the quiet beauty and healing power of nature.

Birdsong, sunlight filtering through the trees, the gentle flow of water, glimpses of turtles and snakes, and the sound of laughter—all reminded us how deeply rejuvenating the natural world can be.

As John Muir once said, “The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.”

Today we began our journey home, back to the Heart of it all – the Great State of Ohio!

Charleston, South Carolina – full of beauty and rich history!

We had an amazing time exploring must-see spots like Fort Sumter, The Citadel, Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens, and the charming city of Charleston itself.

Allison proudly added our 27th state sticker to The Commodore, our trusty camper. It’s incredible how fast our map is filling up—proof that if you dream it, you can do it!

We’ve now left the area and are headed northwest. Next stop: a National Park! Expect snakes, spiders, turtles, hiking, and canoeing. Any guesses where we’re going?
