Your LinkedIn headline is doing you zero favors.

"Marketing Professional | Helping Businesses Grow | Passionate About Digital Strategy"

What does that even mean?

Your headline should answer one question in five seconds: "Why should I care?"

No one really wants to know your job title, get vague promises about growth, or hear you're "passionate" about something.

They want to know: What specific problem you solve and who you solve it for.

Compare these:

❌ "Marketing Expert | Digital Strategy Enthusiast"

✅ "We help MSPs generate 3-5 qualified leads per week through systematic LinkedIn presence."

❌ "Sales Professional | Helping Companies Scale"

✅ "Building outbound systems that book 10+ meetings monthly for B2B tech companies"

One is forgettable. The other is specific enough to matter.

At Howl, we help B2B businesses clarify their message so it actually lands. Because vague doesn't convert. Specific does.

Let us know if you want to give your headline a glow up: After years in marketing, I've learned one thing: consistency matters more than creativity.

Everyone wants the secret to great content. They want the secret hack, the magic formula, or the trick that makes everything easier.

The real answer? Show up every week.

Build a calendar. Stick to it and don't wait for inspiration.

The businesses that grow aren't posting when they feel like it. They're posting because it's Tuesday and that's what the system says.

Systems remove the guesswork. They make consistency possible even when you're not feeling particularly inspired.

That's what we help clients build at Howl. Not just great content, but the infrastructure that makes great content possible week after week.

Because one viral post changes nothing. Fifty consistent posts change everything.

You survived the family questions.

"So what exactly does your business do?"
"You make money doing that?"
"Is this, like, your career?"

What they don't see are the late nights building something from nothing. The pivots that saved everything and the clients whose businesses you transformed.

Entrepreneurship is lonely sometimes.

Your family sees risk. You see possibility. They see instability. You see freedom. They see struggle. You see progress.

Both can be true.

At Howl, we work with people who chose the hard path. We are people who chose the hard path.

To everyone who spent yesterday explaining their business to relatives who don't quite get it:

We see you. We get it. Keep building.

And please tell us in the comments the most ridiculous question you got yesterday.

If we could show our gratitude properly today, we hand everyone a turkey stuffed with qualified leads.

Since we can’t (and it would be a little unsanitary), we’ll just say, we’re grateful for:

The clients who trust us with their biggest growth challenges. The small businesses fighting to be seen in noisy markets. The entrepreneurs who risk everything to build something meaningful.

On a more personal note: we’re so thankful for our incredible team who show up every day passionate and excited to help businesses grow. We’re thankful for our families who listen to our excited ideas and the kids who love us fiercely, even if we have to ask them to stay quiet for a meeting.

So thank you.

For being part of the pack. For showing up. For building something worth talking about.

Enjoy today. Celebrate the people who matter. We'll see you next week.

Happy Thanksgiving. 🦃

Quick strategy reminder before the holiday: Your best leads aren't on your website.

They're in your follow-up.

According to Salesforce's State of Sales Report, 80% of sales require 5+ follow-up touches, but 44% of salespeople give up after just one.

That means most of your competition stops exactly when they should keep going.

The gap between you and revenue? Usually just 2-3 more touchpoints.

At Howl, we build follow-up sequences that feel natural, not desperate. They are automated but personal, and respectfully persistent.

Because the fortune really is in the follow-up.

How many touchpoints do you typically make before moving on?

"So should we post once a week? Or like, three times a day?"

We get asked this a lot. And sure, you could post three times a day. But the answer is more like somewhere in the middle.

The reality is only a small fraction of your followers see each post. People scroll fast, algorithms are unpredictable, and timing matters.

So when you think you're "posting too much," you're probably just becoming consistently visible.

The rules we follow at Howl:
Quality: Always.
Consistency: Absolutely.
Frequency: Enough to stay top of mind.

For most B2B businesses, that's 3-4 posts per week. Not overwhelming, just present.

Expertise without visibility is just a hobby.

You can be the best at what you do. Have the strongest service and deliver incredible results for your clients.

However, if nobody outside your network knows you exist, you're leaving money on the table.

The pattern we see constantly:

- No LinkedIn activity.
- No consistent email presence.
- SEO that hasn't been touched in years.

Meanwhile, competitors with half the expertise are winning because they just show up more consistently.

The good news?

Visibility is a system, not a talent.

It's showing up weekly with content that matters. Building SEO that compounds and running outreach that feels human. Creating a presence that makes people say, "How have I not heard of you before?"

Howl takes businesses out of the shadows and puts them where they belong: in front of the people who need them most.

How visible is your business right now?

Entrepreneurship isn't about the highlight reel. It's about the unglamorous middle - the rejection, the pivots, and the nights wondering if it'll work.

But you keep going.

Because you believe in the problem you're solving. The people you're serving. The business you're building.

So here's to the people who:

⭐Started anyway
⭐Risked comfort for possibility
⭐Built something from nothing
⭐Showed up when it was hard

We understand the journey…we’re on it! Howl is built by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs.

To every entrepreneur reading this: you're not alone. Keep howling.

The marketing tip nobody wants to hear: Your audience doesn't care about your features.

They care about their problems.

We had a call yesterday that went something like this. We asked what they offered businesses.

They said: "We offer 24/7 monitoring, advanced threat detection, and compliance reporting."

But the problem they really solve: "We keep your clients' data safe while you sleep."

Same service. Different frame.

One lists what you do. The other shows what life looks like after they hire you.

The shift: Stop explaining your process. Start describing their outcome.

What's one feature you can reframe as an outcome?

Let’s talk about marketing guarantees.

Every business wants to know: "How many leads will we get?"

It's a fair question. The thing is anyone promising specific lead numbers upfront is either lying or planning to buy low-quality contacts with your name on them.

You should expect a lot from a marketing partner. That looks like:

Systems that generate visibility.
Content that starts conversations.
CRM flows that nurture properly.
Clear metrics tied to pipeline growth.

Unrealistic expectations are set when partners promise you magic lead numbers with no context and guarantees that ignore your industry. These are promises built on hope, not strategy.

At Howl, we don't promise 50 leads next month. We build systems that work predictably over time. Because sustainable growth beats lottery tickets every single time.

Ask yourself: Would you rather have 10 quality conversations or 100 junk contacts?

We honor those people who served in our Armed Forces.

The ones who showed up when it mattered most and put the mission before themselves. Those who understood that real strength is built through commitment, not convenience.

To every veteran reading this: Thank you for your service. Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for showing us what commitment looks like.

We see you and honor you, today and every day.

We constantly get asked: "How long does content marketing take to work?"

Wrong question.

Better question: "How long are you willing to be invisible?"

Because that's your real timeline.

This is what can actually happen:

Month 1: You're building the foundation
Month 2: Your audience starts recognizing you
Month 3: Conversations begin
Month 4-6: Pipeline starts filling

If you quit at Month 2 because you "didn't see results," you just wasted 60 days being almost invisible. Are the businesses winning right now? They started 6 months ago. They showed up every week. They didn't stop when it felt slow.

At Howl, we run the long game for tech companies and MSPs who understand that visibility compounds. Not overnight. Over time.

Now think about where you’ll be 6 months from now.

Most B2B businesses have a follow-up problem, not a lead problem.

You're generating interest, starting conversations, and getting people on the phone.

Then nothing.

In your hectic day, there is no second call, follow-up email, or next step.

The lead goes cold, and you move on to the next one.

The reality:

Most deals don't close on the first touch. Or the second. They close after consistent, strategic follow-up that keeps the conversation moving forward.

However, most businesses don't have a system for that. They rely on memory, sticky notes, and good intentions.

*How can you fix it?*

- Automated follow-up sequences that feel personal.
- CRM workflows that trigger the right message at the right time.
- Systems that don't let opportunities slip through the cracks.

Let’s be real, leads without follow-up are just expensive data.

How many leads are sitting cold in your CRM right now?
