Last Friday, I almost didn’t go… but I’m so glad I did.
I was tired.
Plans changed.
I considered staying home.

But I decided to show up—and it turned out to be exactly what my spirit needed.

Attending Hey You Live hosted by Woman Evolve reminded me that obedience often comes before clarity.

A few takeaways I’m carrying with me into 2026:
✨ Open your eyes and see your situation the way God sees it
✨ Cleanse your palate of fear, hesitation, pain, and doubt
✨ Allow yourself to experience joy
✨ You are not just a woman—you are an atmosphere for a miracle
✨ Stop looking for a word and become the word

Sometimes your yes interrupts your flow—but God makes sure your yes is protected.

Grateful for women who lead with heart and action.

Huge thank you to Camille of for supporting my work and for purchasing books for her children after we volunteered together at Minnie’s Food Pantry.

Moments like this remind me why I do what I do—serving our community, showing up for families, and making sure children see themselves reflected in the stories they read.
