I have not posted on this page for several days and have been extremely busy battling many issues associated with operating a technology operation in southern West Virginia. Feel free to post your opinions about the mask mandates.

I found this article about the cost of college education and the return on certain degrees. This is very informative for the Liberal Arts degrees particularly.

Information has become available to students and consumer advocates who can figure it out the cost of college themselves.

Empire of the Pen

We as humans have not advanced much over the several thousand years of known civilizations. We may have the fastest method of communication, sleekest rides, mansions for sleeping, large electronic amounts of money, travel the skies at will, shop from our electronic devices and find immense knowledge at our fingertips. Yet with all of these advances we are still humans facing the same problems of our ancestors. Medicine may be advanced yet not all can afford the costs, food is plentiful yet people go hungry, and we have lots of electronic friends but don’t say hello to our real neighbors. This online publication will be featuring topics for debate, human interest stories, stories that affect our lives and future generations, and assist in marketing small businesses by offering an alternative to a large media company. It has been said that the pen is mightier than the sword and the mind is a terrible thing to waste. I encourage readers to engage by writing letters to the editor, submitting human interest stories and to think forward a word at a time. Though I have always wanted to write a book called “From The Creek to The Street” my focus is on expanding the capability of this publication and to engage a large diverse audience of all ages. Technology can create cyberspace debris in our minds and confusion but it can be a very useful tool in our everyday life situations.I encourage you to share this page with your friends both online and elsewhere.
